I’ve been writing online since 1998.
That might be too long.
I lived in San Francisco for 14 years and spent a miserable few in Chicago. Then to Northwest Arkansas (where I grew up)with my barking mad husband and our irrepressible Bean . Oh and far too many cats than any one family should have. It’s was good to be back, though a bit strange after so long in The City. I still can’t figure out if you can actually go home again. //Edited after 10 years// You can and you can’t . As they say you are not able to step in the same river twice. I was lucky enough to bring my husband and brilliant daughter back to live in Fayetteville for 10 years. We were never destined to stay there, but those years brought us much in terms of love again with those friends from high school and new deep friendships with excellent folk, as well as re-connecting with those I’ve loved since ..since I was 14. And let me tell you. I am so proud of the fact that I have friendships that have lasted so very long.
And coming in 2016…time for another change. We’ll be leaving our Ozark Mountain home and heading back west…It will be a big adventure. And also sad to leave our good friends and big red house.
I’ve had a number of blogs, journals and diaries over the years. Much of the archives have been pulled down, except for the last few years. It’s unlikely, however hilarious they are, that those will go back up for some time. Maybe when we can *all* laugh at it, and not just me
