Well, the 11 things post kind of answers this doesn’t it?
I guess in this next year I am going to:
Continue getting my dental health in order. I have a giant fear of dentist’s I’ve been working on for over 6 years. Hey, I don’t faint anymore and I’ve been through the worse you can go through (isn’t gum surgery on all four quadrants at once the worse, why yes yes it is).
I will develop some promising friendships with some lovely geekish or geek friendly folk.
I will let go of what didn’t work. By consciously releasing it.
I will rehabilitate my leg.
I will get back to the weight lifting and bike riding because I’m not going to be jogging for a long time, if ever.
I will learn more about databases and cascading style sheets.
I will decide about getting certified.
I will right more frequently in my blog (well not more frequently than I am now!!) and I will develop and maintain some of the excellent dialogue with folks I’ve met this way. I’m learning a lot from them.
And all that stuff I said on 11 things. It’s like my action item or goal list that I have at work. Yikes. I’ll do stuff. I’ll live a life you know?
Congrats on dealing with your dental work fears. I used to work in a dental office. If someone didn’t show for their appointment, the dr would toss one of us employees into the chair. It eliminated the dread factor because you never knew when your appointment would be!

That would help–the not dreading it! I had horrible things happen to me as a kid–bad dentists, bad orthodontic work–real horror stories. I neglected my dental health for years but when the Bean came along I had to be a good example and also not make her fearful. It helps that Dr. Hodous really understands fearful patients too.
