Efface, to wear away

Efface, to wear away

Untiltled by Aurelien Breeden

Time has a way of wearing down, erasing, almost rearranging the self into something like but unlike.

It seems you start this journey to adulthood thinking so many thoughts of who you will be, how you will be and when.

Then life happens and those dreams, many of them are placed in your book of photographs to turn sepia with age.

And other dreams take the place of those that now occupy memory’s place.

Sometimes it feels as if parts of you are missing but sometimes like another portrait has begun.
