December 30 – Gift

Prompt: Gift. This month, gifts and gift-giving can seem inescapable. What’s the most memorable gift, tangible or emotional, you received this year?

I’ve really run out of steam on these. I think because I started with nablopomo the first of November.

This year J got me a Buddha cat  necklace (by Gary Steinborn)that I’d wanted for a few years. I’d never get it for myself, it was just too expensive. It’s unique and rare and I got tears in my eyes when I opened it. I often use a buddha cat for my avatar on FB and other places so it’s even more personal.

I also, when I’ve been able  to help, I very much appreciate the kind words of appreciation I’ve gotten from many many of the teachers I work with.

Every time our kidlet says I love you.

and this year, out of the blue, a friend from way back sent our whole family a box of thoughtful goodies. It was so unexpected and such a generous outpouring that I am still smiling about it.
